Sunflower Project

Sunflowers symbolize positive energy. They turn to face the sun and when they can’t find the sun they face each other to absorb the energy.

Karrinyup are proud to partner with Holly Ogden from Seeded Sunflowers and join the community Sunflower Project.

Holly created Seeded Sunflowers in 2019 with the aim to bring communities and art together. Holly has painted over 350 Sunflowers across Perth and the South West for free with the intent that people see them and absorb the positivity they hold.

Her continued passion for art lead has lead her to work with The City Of Stirling to create a Sunflower Trial, allowing families to visit Sunflower locations, take a photos and enjoy the art displays.

As part of this programme, Karrinyup have added sunflowers to the small wash unit at the Children's Cubby house, located on The West Deck.
